Welcome to the Bill's World Digital Gallery.

Welcome to my virtual gallery of digital images. Since all the pictures in a www document are digital, maybe the name's a little redundant, but I'll live with it. Anyhow, this is a collection of computer generated or enhanced images created by myself. And yes, the title bar is original. :-)

Air Corinthian's Flagship

With the high volume of data that Corinthian Media Services moves around cyber space, we've had expand our virtual air transit division. Here is the flagship of our fleet cruising above the smog of the Los Angeles sub-net.

The Corinthian Media Services Helicopter

Another recent addition to our air fleet. Here we are rushing off to a URL in a neighboring domain.

FF1 __ FF2 __ FF3 __ FF4

Four frames from the animated short "Flight of Fancy". Just a little eye candy as three fighter spaceships launch from and flyby their mothership.

Fresno Monorail

This is a frame out of one segment of an animation for Corinthian Media Services. The monorail is entirely synthetic, the park, is Westwood Park, a private little spot owned by my homeowner's association. In the animation, the monorail car passes behind some of the trees, and casts an accurate shadow on the background. The best part about this image is that some people who have seen it asked me where it is located, because they didn't know Fresno had a monorail

The Castle Anthrax

This is a Lightwave rendering I created for The Castle Anthrax Homepage.

The WARPIG!

Another image generated in, you guessed it Lightwave. This is an image which was used a short time on the Warpig paintball page, after Corinthian Media Services took over maintenance.

Koinoia House Logo

This is a 3D version of the Koinonia House Logo, which I created for The Koinonia House Homepage is a great information source for tape and video studies for thinking Christians.

Chrome Flying Saucer

This is another still frame out of an animation. In the animation the saucer enters the screen in the distance in the upper left and swings in close and flies over the camera.

The Running Fast Food Bag

I created this image as a proof of concept for a fast food franchise.

Satelite Flyby

This is a frame from one of the first animations I did in LightWave 3.0. The animation is a flyby of the earth with a sunrise over the edge, then whipping around and closing in on the satellite.

Record Search SSN interface mockup

This is a comp from a project that we did in the mid/late 90s in conjunction with Touchinfo F/X. We produced touch-screen information centers for California State University, Fresno. The info kiosks provided information about a variety of student programs, and campus maps, as well as a simple to use touch-screen interface through which students could check their enrolement and grade records. Previously, hardiwred terminals were available for records-search but had the downside that they were a publicly accessible terminal hardwired to the student record mainframe - a real security risk. Our system acted as a firewall in that respect. Through the interface (which looked very much like the mockup shown here) the student entered their query. The touch-screen application (an AmigaVision Script) then communicated with terminal software via AREXX and queried the mainframe for the information, which it then displayed back to the student. As both CMS and CSUFresno were early adopters of the World Wide Web - placing the mockup here, meant we could pull it up via the web on campus while meeting with the records department staff who were our client.

Record Search grades interface mockup

This is another mockup from the same project.
