The "Bob's Biz Boys" roster.

Bill "BizBoy"
Mills Since you probably got here from my page, there's no point
in prattling on about myself here. As promised, here
is a picture of me, circa 1978 (or it could be 1979 - 5th grade).
-
Dawn "Dawnie"
Mills Dawn started playing paintball with the Instigators in the
fall of '87 when we were first dating. Her first elimination was a Sherrif's
officer from Tulare County (another member of the Instigators). She danced
around all afternoon singin "I shot the sherriff... But I did not shoot
the deputy."
-
Cristin Pescosolido. Cristin also started playing with the Instigators
in '87, and put our logo together. Cristin hasn't been on the paintball
field in a while, but vows to return. She presently does computer matte
and animation at CineCite (Kodaks move into the motion picture effects
business) and has screen credits in films like Waterworld (She did the
motion tracking for that famous shot from the bridge of the Valdeze) and
Under Seige-II. In 1989, when the "BizBoys" officially came into
being, Christin was going to Harvard, and made up the Boston branch of
the team. If you have aging issues of Action Pursuit Games, Christin is
mentioned on page 55 of the July 1990 issue.
-
Paul Walton Paul formed the original London branch of the Biz
Boys. Paul came out to the states from his home town of Hitchin, just
outside of London. He worked on the staff at Camp Mirimichi, and joined
us for the first game that we played under the name of "Bob's Biz Boys".
Here
is a picture of Paul at camp.
-
Brad "Nose Poser" Heuseveldt Brad got me in touch with the Instigators
about a year after I started playing. The instigators was started by a
cousin of his. Here
he is in 1978, and here
he is hanging out at Huntington Lake in 1995.
-
Jeff "Rucharoo" Ruch I think Jeff started playing when we were playing
bi-monthly with the Instigators, but I'm not certain. Here
is a pic of Jeff in 1985. He's the one on the left. And here
is Jeff today, prepering to enjoy a serving of the steak dinner he cooked
for us all during a weekend get away at Greg's cabin. While starting to
get back into paintball again, Jeff is pretty busy saving lives as a paramedic
with advanced switfwater and vertical rescue training.
-
Greg Junell Greg started playing paintball in '87 with me at the
Adventure Game of America field here in Fresno. While he hasn't played
with "Bob's Biz Boys in ages, he's still a part of our crew, and
has been playing every now and again at Central Coast Paintball near San
Louis Obispo. Here
is Greg in '78, in
'85 (on the right), and now(sitting
on the rock with Dawn and Mikah the wonder dog).
-
Steve "Mal" Courtney Steve started playing around the same time
as Jeff, and like Jeff dissapeared from the sport for a while. He met us
this spring at Mare Island (he lives and works in San Fransisco, editing
video for an ad agency) for a great day of paintball. Here
is Steve circa 1978. I think he had a rough morning that day. Here
he is in 1985 (in the middle). And here
he is today (lower right).
-
Steve Mitchell
We started playing in Fresno with Steve and other members of his team,
Brew Brigade, a couple of years ago, after I ran into Steve in rec.sport.paintball.
Small world isn't it?
-
I used to work with Tash at University Computer Services, when I was
in school, and he's a regular at BC's Pizza & Beer on friday nights.
Steve Mitchell talked him into coming to play paintball with us one weekend,
and within a week, he'd bought his own clothes, goggles, and Pro-Am. He's
hooked. Tash keeps alive the London connection for the team (He's a born
and bred Londoner) and you'll allways know if he's road-tripping with us
by the presence of a Union Jack on our tent.
