Cross Dissolves

It didn’t take long to title this volume as a play on words. The 36 DVE files that make up Cross Dissolves are wipes and dissolves themed around crosses.
There are three basic cross designs used in the DVEs, a simple wooden cross, a slim modern cross, and a thick stone cross.
Some of the transitions represent the crosses as 3D color images wiping across the screen to bring in the new video source, while others are animated dissolves, bringing in first a cross shaped segment of the new video source before fully transitioning to it.
Like Volume 1, the DVEs in Cross Dissolves are grouped in sets, where the same concept is delivered in multiple directions, to allow similar transitions to be used as a theme without repeating exactly the same DVE.
The full color crosses wipe the screen from the top, left, bottom and right. The dissolving crosses each come from the four corners, and two left and right hand swooping and zooming pattern wipe transitions are also in the set, with each of the three cross shapes.
CMS Wipes Volume 2 - Cross Dissolves is available on DVD-R from Corinthian Media Services, shipped by US Mail to customers in the United States, for $35. These 4:3 aspect ratio transitions are handcrafted in the USA for NTSC use with VT[2], VT[3], VT[4], VT[5] and Speed Edit. Dealer Inquiries Invited.
